Explore the impact of Alexander Gardner’s photographs on the memory of Antietam and how the American public viewed warfare through wet plate photography demonstrations and a hike with a ranger to the locations where some of the Gardner photographs were taken. There will also be the opportunity for visitors to create their own cyanotypes and learn about this photographic process. The full schedule of programs will be posted on the park website as we approach the event date.

Programs are free; park entrance fee is $20 per vehicle.
