Sharpshooting on Best Farm – Union and Confederate skirmishers used the landscape and the buildings of Best Farm to their advantage as they dueled on July 9, 1864. Rangers and volunteers will provide demonstrations of the skirmish drill, as well as tours of the Best Farm. Guided tours of the Best Farm will occur at 10:30am, 12:30pm and 2:30pm. Skirmish Drills presented by Living History demonstrators will occur at 11am, 1pm and 3pm.
