On the 243rd anniversary of Anthony Wayne's 1781 march through Maryland and Virginia to meet up with the Marquis de Lafayette, Sgt. Lawrence Everhart Chapter, Sons of the American Revolution, will commemorate the crossing of the Potomac by Wayne and 900 Pennsylvania Continental troops, which took place on May 31, 1781.
