Compass Adventure Through Frederick

Ongoing Opportunities

  • August 4 at 2 PM

Families will make their own paper and go on an expedition through downtown Frederick. After making their own compasses, families will follow the clues left behind by Mason and Dixon. The clues will lead to supplies that Mason and Dixon need for their adventure. The paper made by families will be sent to them with other scavenger hunt activities for children. (*Paper made by the children will take 24-hours to dry and will be mailed home to families.) Mason and Dixon were land surveyors who mapped out the Mason-Dixon Line which separates Pennsylvania and Maryland.

Please email kshorter@frederickhistory.org to register. $10 for children, parents free.
