Travis Gilbert

Travis Gilbert received a Bachelor of Arts in History from Hood College in Frederick, Maryland, where he completed original research on Maryland secessionists Enoch Louis Lowe and Esther Winder Polk Lowe. Gilbert is a docent at the Lower Cape Fear Historical Society and volunteer at the USS North Carolina Battleship Memorial in Wilmington, North Carolina. He is currently completing a manuscript on women's contributions to the rise of the Lost Cause in Wilmington between 1865 and 1924. Travis Gilbert can be found on Instagram or Twitter.
